Janet Owens filled in, as needed, for a teacher dealing with medical issues. She performed tasks ranging from preparing the teacher’s classroom for the first day of school to making sure all of the paperwork was handled. Thanks to Janet for working as part of the team at Broadway Elementary School.
Denise Arnold took the initiative to enter the 5th grade student data into the ClassDoJo behavior management program being utilized at Weldon Intermediate School. She also has been helping teachers regarding use of the program. In addition, Denise has been tutoring a struggling student after school.
Jamie Cook provides tremendous support for the Gladewater Middle School academic intervention lab. She develops a weekly schedule for all students assigned to the lab. Jamie also works with her peers to monitor the exit process for students from the lab as they demonstrate mastery of the learning concepts.
Darla Wallace has spent many extra hours at Gladewater High School learning how to operate the new student management system. She is always eager to help trouble-shoot any issue. Darla makes herself available to all staff in guiding them through the transition to the new software.
Brandon Pigeon has gone above and beyond his teaching duties by spending his own time this summer learning how to operate the new student management system. He spent many hours setting up student schedules for the beginning of school. Brandon also makes himself available to teachers in guiding them through the software.
